Golden Rays

by

The man on the moonshoots the sun, some golden rays fizzle out.

The darkening skydoes not deter me fromwalking my tiger in circleson the cracked wooden floorin my yellow brickedapartment.

(Red leash bedazzled with rhinestones.)

I sigh creating a void,orange and black stripesdisappear—remaining rhinestones.

I pick up each sparklingjewel and arrangethem in a star.
