Artist Statement "In this series of sensual images, everyday food and objects are juxtaposed in an unexpected, playful manner alongside with a faceless human hand. Using vibrant colors and cultural references, the present work questions the role of food and (faux-)luxury in the contemporary world and their inter-relationship." Panyagal Charm is a New York-based designer. She received a master’s degree in package design at Pratt with distinction. She has been working in various design fields, ranging from film costume design to motion graphic design to product design.
