About J.E. Safa
J.E. Safa is a first-generation Lebanese-American writer born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her poems, essays, and short stories have appeared in The Esthetic Apostle, Coffee & Crumbs, Rusted Radishes, Running Wild Press, The Petigru Review, and elsewhere. She was nominated for a Pushcart Prize for her short story “In the Heart of Mama's Belly.” She splits her time between Brooklyn and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and also publishes under Joujou and Jawaher.
