Heather Whited grew up in Tennessee, later spent two years living in Japan and Ireland, and has called Portland, Oregon home for nearly 15 years. She teaches, writes, reads, and sometimes acts. She lives with her fiance and their three cats and aspires to one day make it on Jeopardy, which would impress her partner very much and the cats not at all.
