Casey Goodall came to poetry after a life in other kinds of work: a farm childhood in rural Utah, naval service, school district administration, years as an adjunct professor and dissertation advisor, and six years as an amateur photographer. His poems move between memory, moral attention, the natural world, and philosophical inquiry, often through specific sensory experience.
